The Jet Runners Club of Nadi is organizing a 10km road championship and a 5km Fun Run at Korovuto College.

The Club have been hosting other runs in the western division with the aim of improving people’s health and fitness through running.

The event is funded by former Fiji resident Mrs. Gyan Singh.

Jet Runners Club President Abhinesh Kumar urges Fijians to come in numbers to support the cause of a healthy lifestyle.

“We Fijians should come in numbers to run in such races .Running is not about but also socialize with friends and family.”

Fiji long distances Champion Avikash Lal will also take part in the race along with some other national distance runner that qualify for the Samoa Games.

The race will be held this Saturday.
