The Fijian swimmers taking part in the FINA World Championships failed to secure any medals during the week-long event in Canada.

Cheyenne Rova finished first in the Womens 50 meter Freestyle heat, clocking a time of 25 point 82 seconds but failed to qualify for the finals.

Fijian Olympian Matelita Buadromo also didnt qualify for the finals in her 50 meter Butterfly heat.

She clocked a time of 28 point 83 seconds.

Tieri Erasito finished 47th overall in the Womens 100 meters Butterfly event clocking a time of one minute and five seconds.

She set a time of 2 minutes 24 seconds in the 200 meter Butterfly race.
