Australian players to take advantage of weather

The Australian 7s team hopes to take full advantage of the weather in Sydney as they prepare for the tournament in the capital city.

Aussie Captain, Lewis Holland says they have been training in the blistering sun for past few months.

“It will be a little bit of an uphill advantage because of the weather we have been training in. So hopefully that pays us up later down the track.”

Meanwhile, the temperature in Sydney is expected to be 27 degrees when the game kicks off tomorrow.

Australia is pooled with Canada, USA and Scotland.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways mens 7s side is pooled with New Zealand, Samoa and Russia.

They kick off their campaign against Samoa at 8.28pm tomorrow.
The side then plays Russia at 5.09pm on Saturday before facing New Zealand at 8.42pm.

The Cup quarter-final kicks off at 12.28pm on Sunday, semi-final begins at 6.36pm and the final is schedule for 9.48pm.
