The Fiji women’s under 18 basketball team was thrashed by Australia 122-8 in its second’s pool match of the FIBA under 18 Oceania Championship yesterday at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.

In other men’s match result, Samoa beat Tahiti 89-39 while New Zealand hammered PNG 121-13.

In the men’s division, New Zealand defeated New Caledonia 137-22.

The Championship continues today and ends on Saturday.
