Australia-NZ RWC final

It will be an Australia-New Zealand Rugby World Cup final this weekend at Twickenham Stadium in England.

This will be the first time that the Trans-Tasman rivals will face-off in a World Cup final, although both teams will be making an equal record fourth appearance in the tournament climax.

Australia beat Argentina 29-15 in the second semifinal this morning.

Winger, Adam Ashley Cooper was awarded Man of the Match for scoring a hat-trick of tries for the Wallabies.

Australia scored one of the quickest tries in the tournament in the first minute to lock forward, Rob Simmons; who intercepted a wayward pass to run in un-touched to the try line.

Fly half Bernard Foley added nine points from the boot.

Argentina flyhalf, Nicolas Sanchez scored all of the Pumas points with five penalty goals.

Wallabies hooker and captain, Stephen Moore says the team will recover well tomorrow before preparing for a tough encounter against the All Blacks.

“Everyone did their job; we just have to recover well. We know the task this week is going to be huge and we are going to have to play really well. But thanks again to all our supporters.”

Australia will face New Zealand in the World Cup final at 5am on Sunday.

Argentina will meet South Africa in the 3rd and 4th playoff at 8am on Saturday.
