Australia hopes win many more tournaments

January 30, 2018 5:08 pm

Fiji’s pool opponent and Sydney champions, the Australia 7s side has no plans of being a one-hit wonder.

After breaking their six-year winless drought beating South Africa 29 nil last weekend, Australia’s veteran play-maker James Stannard says they have the potential to win more tournaments this season.

“It will be great to win a tournament regardless of this my last or first but yes we going to win and when we win it will be going to be special but there is still more tournaments to win this season and I want to win a lot of tournaments.”
