Fiji Airways 7s team coach Gareth Baber has rated Australia as a tough team to beat in their pool game of the Dubai 7s which kicks off on Friday.
Baber says after they beat Australia earlier this month in the Oceania 7s, they will not rest this time as they will try to avenge their loss.
“Australia will be a physical battle which Australia wants and what we going to do is to make sure we play the rugby that Fiji play. There were a numbers of times that we’ve beaten them so it is just reminding the players that topping that pool will progress us to a good quarterfinal.”
Fiji kicks off the Dubai 7s campaign against Russia on Friday at 7.06pm; they then play Wales at 10.06pm and face Australia on Saturday 4.06am.
The final will be played on Sunday at 4.33am.
