Auckland City has booked a spot in the finals of the Fiji Airways OFC Champions League after defeating Gaitcha FC 1-0 in Suva this afternoon.

It was a tough encounter between the two teams with the scores locked at nil-all at halftime.

City’s Portugese import, Joao Moreira was fouled in the late stages of the game.

Fom the ensuing penalty, Marko Dordevic headed in the cross to send Auckland City into the final.

The Kiwis will now await the winner of the second semi-final between Ba and Team Wellington which is now underway.

The final will be held on Sunday at 7pm at the ANZ Stadium.
