April 26, 2015 12:59 am

The Auckland City football side is expecting a physical encounter against Team Wellington when the two New Zealand side’s clash in the final of the Fiji Airways OFC Champions League in Suva this evening.

City coach Ramon Tribulietx says both teams are familiar with the other team’s tactics having played several games against each other in the ASB Premiership in New Zealand.

The man who led Auckland City to a semi-final appearance in the FIFA Club World Cup last year says the match will go down to the wire with neither side wanting to lose their unbeaten run in this year’s OFC Champions League.

“We know each other pretty well. We’ve played quite a few games against each other. We both know our strengths and weaknesses and it’s going to make the game very tight one so whatever happens on the field, I hope it’s a good game and we will enjoy it.”

Auckland City will defend the Fiji Airways OFC Champions League title against Team Wellington at 7pm at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
