No plastic use at Chow Games says Bower

With the 2019 Chow Games done and dusted, Secretary of the Fiji Primary Schools Athletics Association Patrick Bower says there were no use of plastic during the tournament this year.

Bower says they had been informed by the Fiji Sports Council on the ban of plastic use at the stadium premises and they abided by that rule.

He says they were not allowed to use Garbage bags to collect rubbish from around the stadium.

They gave us Hessian Sacks and the students worked with some of the Fiji Sports Council staff but particularly with their staff and the children that did that were from Draiba Primary School and they did an excellent job.

Bower says even after everyone had left, children from the chow games committee stayed back to ensure that their work was done.
