More than 2,000 athletes to compete at the Fiji Finals

Two thousand five hundred athletes from more than one hundred and fifty schools around the country will compete at the Coca-Cola Games.

The Fiji finals  starts tomorrow at Suva’s ANZ Stadium.

Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association secretary Vuli Waqa says they are expecting tough competitions from various school in the three-day tournament.

“This is going to be the biggest and probably the largest game ever for us. Every competition we try and bring in something that is new to the games. For tomorrow the measurement in the field events will not be done by measuring tape but they going to be done our surveyors from Ministry of Lands.”

Meanwhile three hundred officials will participate at the meet.

The Fiji Finals will start tomorrow at 10am and ends on Thursday.
