The 2019 Coca-Cola games will have some major changes to its programme this year so that athletes will be able to return home in time for the Easter holiday.

Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association Secretary Vuli Waqa says they are finalizing the three-day programme before it is sent to school around the country.

Waqa says they are prioritizing schools who travel from far to compete at the Games.

“We’re trying to make sure the competitions finish around 1pm on Thursday. To do that, we have brought in some of the events that would normally run on the last day into Day one and Day two of the competition. The 800m event which is normally on day-three usually is now going to be run on day one and day two.”

The Coke Games will be held on the 16th, 17th and 18th of April at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
