Lots of hard work and dedication came to fruition for primary school students who represented their districts during the 2019 National Primary Schools Chow Games at ANZ Stadium today.

Many of the youngsters say this is a stepping stone for a brighter future for them and they’re willing to give it their best shot.

Despite winning no medals so far, taking part in the 2019 Chow Games for Joeli Matea of Dawasamu District School is a dream he worked really hard to achieve.

Matea believes kids like him should attempt to achieve their goals despite the odds.

On the other hand, Ba town is well known for its heavy involvement in Football, however, for Viniana Madavakatale, Cricket Ball is what she shines in.

“When one of my class 6 teachers taught me in Namosi, that’s how I got to know cricket ball.”

The 2019 Chow Games will continue tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
