Athletics Fiji on the hunt for talent

December 11, 2012 4:00 am

Athletics Fiji’s second set of competition for this month gets underway on Saturday.

Athletics Fiji president, Albert Miller says the purpose of the event is to scout for potential athletes for next year’s Mini Games in Wallis & Futuna.

“We’re encouraging any interested athletes to be a part of this weeekend’s competition. WE want to have a lot of variety in our national training squad for the Mini Games but also to mould them in time for the Pacific Games in PNG in 2015."
