Athletics Fiji awaits confirmation on its 4 by 100 meters mens and womens relay teams participation in the Commonwealth Games.

Team manager Joseph Rodan says, despite their win in Vanuatu they will need to be in top 16 to play in Australia.

“In the relay we have to get the confirmation because only the top teams get selected and we will wait and see if the male or females team get selected.”

Meanwhile, athletics Fiji will only select nine best athletes to represent the nation to the Commonwealth in April.
