October 17, 2017 4:31 am

The Republic of the Fiji Military Forces rugby league team will battle in pink socks this Friday in the Sukuna Bowl tournament in support of the month of breast cancer.

Military chief staff officer co-ordination, Captain Eroni Duaibe says they are taking a different approach at the challenge this year.

“The RFMF rugby league team is supporting the fight against the killer disease, cancer, since Sukuna Bowl is falling in the Pinktober month. We have noticed that breast cancer awareness was much needed and that it was not only something for women to know but men as well.”
