Army-Police set for showdown

The stage is set for the ANZ Sukuna Bowl rugby challenge between Police and Army in Suva this afternoon.

Both teams are set to field several former national and provincial reps for the much-anticipated clash.

Defending champions, Army will have the services of Isake Katonibau, Waqabaca Kotobalavu and Aminiasi Nava.

Police will look to avenge its 18-10 loss to the soldiers last year and has roped in Nadroga players, Setefano Somoca, Mitieli Nacagilevu and Meli Kurisaru as well as Nadi halfback, Jock Liuta.

The ANZ Stadium is expected to be a sea of blue and red, when Army and Police clash at 4pm today.

Meanwhile, Police won the football challenge after a lapse of two years, beating Army 2-1 this morning.
