The Fiji Military Forces hosted a church service today to honor its Sukuna Bowl Challenge victory last week.

Military Commander, Brigadier General Mosese Tikoitoga, commended all the members of the force that took part in this year’s challenge and urged them to continue to strive towards excellence.

Army rugby manager, Colonel Manoa Gadai says the win was dedicated to all the fans who conveyed their support to the team in the build-up to the game.

“What a way to end our year, with a high note. We promised our Commander RFMF that we will get the Sukuna Bowl back for him. Not only for him, but to our Government of the day, the Prime Minister who has been supporting us all along and all our families and supporters, especially those in the Middle East.”

In wrapping up his speech, Tikoitoga says Army’s victory at the Sukuna Bowl was of great significance to the force because this year also marked the 100th year remembrance of the First World War
