AFL Fiji has confirmed that the Women’s team is ranked 5th in the World standings after their performance in the last world cup.

Development Manager Simon High field says, they host yearly competitions for the women’s team to keep them on track.

“So the Parade cup every will have a women’s competition so we not only focus on the men’s but the women’s our women is actually ranked higher in the men in the international ranking so our women is fifth in the world.”

The AFL season will start early March.
