“I love our team this year and we got a mixture of experienced and youth players and a lot of strong bodies. We have some rock men and I’m really excited and I think we have a high chance of winning the championship”.

Coach Maciu Raida says the side is anticipating a tough Pacific battle.

The tournament is also a trial for players from all participating teams to represent the Oceania region in the Under 16 Queensland States championship next year.

The tournament ends on Friday.
