AFL Fiji has named its 23 member squad to prepare for the Under 15 Oceania Championship in December.

The players were chosen following the Vanua Challenge over the weekend and will compete against Nauru, Tonga and Vanuatu in the week-long event.

AFL South Pacific Coordinator Simon Highfield says the national selectors were having a difficult time in selecting the final squad.

“It’s really a lot of hard work from our development staffs led by Matelita Tuilevuka and its been fantastic and its incredible how they’ve come all this years to get a good quality contingent to compete in a high quality presentative game like this.”

The Oceania Championship runs through the 3rd to the 8th of December at Suva’s Albert Park.
