The Fiji International Golf tournament received a major boost after Airports Fiji Limited signed on as a sponsor.
The assistance is valued at $100,000 in cash and kind.
Head of Commercial for the Fiji International, Mathew Porm says the partnership will enable the event to get more participants and supporters from all over the world.
“Airports Fiji Limited is a very important partner with specifically in relations to the tournament and the ability that the airport partnership offers us in relation to actually reach out and talk to or the inbound tourists to come in to Fiji.”
Airports Fiji Limited CEO, Faiz Khan says it’s an honor to be part of a tournament which will promote the country.
The Fiji International Golf tournament will be held from the 15th to the 18th of October at the Natadola Bay Championship golf course in Sigatoka.
