ACS and Lelean take out top honours

Lelean Memorial and Adi Cakobau School took top honours in their respective divisons of the Triple N Zone athletics meet at the National Stadium.

13 zone records were broken which implies the upcoming national championships (Coca Cola Games) in April should be a thriller.

LMS were able to overcome the challenge of defending champions, Sila Central after collecting 13 Gold, 8 Silver and 6 Bronze.

Sila finished the day with 12 Gold, 13 Silver and 5 Bronze.

Rewa High School claimed the third spot on the medal standings with 9 Gold, 5 Silver and 3 Bronze.

Meanwhile, ACS comfortably retained their title in the girls division.

They were able to grab a massive total medal tally of 53 medals – 25 Gold, 20 Silver and 8 Bronze.

Rewa High School were the runners up with 4 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze.

Sila High School claimed 3 Gold, 5 Silver and 7 Bronze.

19 schools that took part in the Triple N Zone while 21 schools competing in the Suva Zone One will meet on Thursday.
