Acid test for Fiji

The Fiji football side will face an acid test against the Wellington Phoenix in the first of their two-match series this afternoon.

Apart from captain, Roy Krishna-led, the national side is made up of local-based players and will be up against full-time professionals.

Fiji coach, Carlos Buzzetti says his players will look past this in order to give local fans a good show.

The Fiji-Phoenix match will kick off at 5:30pm at the ANZ Stadium and a live commentary will air on Radio Fiji 2 with the voice of soccer, Raymond Stoddart.

Prior to this match, the Fiji under 23 side will take on the Wellington Phoenix premier side at 2:30pm.

The return match will be held next Tuesday at Govind Park in Ba.
