4 spots up for grabs in nationals

Teams in the South Eastern Secondary Schools Rugby League competition will vie for four spots in the national competition.

South Eastern Rugby League President, Aisake Tuapati says with the merging of the Southern and Eastern Zones this year, it has opened up the door for teams from three spots in previous years.

Tuapati adds the top four teams will battle the top four teams from the Western division in the national competition.

Eight teams are participating in the Under-19, 17 and 15 grades in the South Eastern Zone.

Nasinu Secondary School, Queen Victoria School, Lomaivuna High School and Assemblies of God High School are some of the favorites in the division.

Meanwhile round two of the South Eastern Zone competition will be held at Marcellin Primary School on Saturday.
