More than twenty race categories have been lined up for the Namosau Horse Racing competition in Ba, next month.

Tournament Organizer, Sunil Shetty says tough competition is expected as the race is open to horses from as far as Rakiraki to Sigatoka.

“We will be having almost 23 to 25 races and in one race there will be four to five horses taking part.”

Meanwhile, the event will be held in conjunction with the opening of the new venue.

Fixtures are expected to be drawn on the 19th of December and the race will be held the following day.
