16 football teams will be competing in the Rooster National Club Championship, which will kick start this weekend.

The six teams from the western division are the Press Soccer Club and City United FC of Lautoka, 4R Electrical FC and Nailaga Sports of Ba and FC Gandhi and Namaka FC of Nadi.

Defending champions, Civic will be out to retain the title and will be among the 11 teams in the Southern division against the likes of Bureta, Lokia, Friends United, Koromakawa, Nakasi Lions, Raralevu, Widova, Chelsea Sports Club and Tai United.

The western and southern division playoffs will be held on Saturday and Sunday at Prince Charles Park in Nadi and Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori respectively.

The pool draws will released on Wednesday.

The final play-offs will be held next weekend at Govind Park in Ba.
