1540 athletes to compete in Chow Games

1540 athletes are expected to compete in the Fiji Primary Schools Chow Games at the ANZ Stadium in Suva this week.

Major sponsor, Flour Mills of Fiji Limited handed over a $70,000 cheque to organizers for the two-day competition which gets underway on Thursday.

FMF Group Marketing Manager, Poonam Kritika says the company is happy to be associated with the event for the past 10 years and is looking forward to another successful competition for the students.

The athletes will be representing 20 districts from around the country in 1805 individual and group events.

The Chow Games will begin on Thursday and ends on Friday.
