12th Sukuna Bowl – A special moment for Army Skipper

It was a special moment for Army Rugby captain Sireli Ledua who played his final Ratu Sukuna Bowl Challenge this year after 12 years.

Ledua who led the side to victory at this year’s Sukuna Bowl has been clinical in Army’s rugby victories throughout the years.

The former Fiji Warriors captain says his final game for the Army side today is a moment he will always remember.

He adds the Sukuna Bowl win was an icing on the cake for the end of his rugby career.

“Last year for me as well to play, I just encourage the boys. We have our new recruits who just recruited in April and we feed them into the system of Sukuna Bowl this year they have a feeling of it, and they get the true feeling of what it’s like to win the Sukuna Bowl.”

Ledua also led the Army side that won the International Defence Competition this year in Japan.

Army defeated Police 20-17 to claim the 2019 Sukuna Bowl title.
