100 and 400m to be drawcard on first day

The 100 and 400 metres track finals will be the pinnacle of Day One of the 2015 Coca-Cola Games at the ANZ Stadium in Suva tomorrow.

The finals of the two races take place one after the other and as past practice will draw much attention at Laucala.

The likes of Fiji reps Aaron Powell, Batinisavu Uluiyata, Younis Bese will be amongst the big names tipped for glory in the two races in their respective grades.

There will also be the 200 metres heats which will take place tomorrow and the first set of medals for tracks will be on offer during the 1500m

The field events get underway with the javelin, discus, shot put and long jump.
