The Vodafone Fiji Under-23 football side has been held by New Caledonia to a 1-all draw in the Four Nations Friendship Cup in Vanuatu this afternoon.

Fiji’s goal was scored by Labasa’s Christopher Wasasala in the first half.
However, the striker will miss the final match against Vanuatu tomorrow, as he was sent off for a second bookable offence in the match.

New Caledonia got the equalizer in the dying stages through Jean Brice Wadraiako.

The draw sees Fiji in second spot with two points after having drawn 1-all with the Solomon Islands in the first match.
