Only one record was broken today in the Fiji Primary Schools Chow Games at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

Suva Blues Avelina Navui set a new record in the Under-12 Girls Long Jump event, beating the old record of 4.74 meters with a new distance of 4.79 meters.

Suva Blues sits in second spot in the girl’s medal tally with 4 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze.

Nadroga/Navosa is leading the pack with 5 gold, 4 silver and a bronze.

Bua is in third with 3 gold and 2 bronze followed by Macuata with 2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze and Nadi in fifth with 1 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze.

In the boys division, Suva Blues leads with 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze followed by Lautoka with 3 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze.

Ra is in third with 3 gold, a silver and a bronze, followed by Macuata with 4 gold.
The competition will continue at 9am tomorrow.
