The National Substance Abuse and Advisory Council is urging youths to stay away from the illegal drug trade business.

This comes after police conducted drug raids around the country, resulting in the seizure of Marijuana and Methamphetamine.

During these seizures, police say it’s believed many youths were involved in the delivering of supplements.

NSAAC Chief Executive, Manoa Senikarawa says youths need to look for other legal ways of earning money rather than taking the easy way out.

“I’d advise that there are other things that young people can indulge in or to involve themselves in to ensure that they are able to prosper but within the ambits of the law. Drugs affects your body, it affects your health and that health is something that will never come back."

Senikarawa adds the younger generation need to make the right choices in life in order to have a bright future.
