The 2018 Youth and Sports Conference came to an end last night with an awards night for young entrepreneurs, youth volunteers and youth groups.

Closing the conference, Youth Minister Laisenia Tuitubou says the conference brought together youths from around Vanua Levu to engage in general dialogue.

He adds, the conference has achieved its desired outcomes.

“Remember, dialogue must continue and it is two way. You have to come up with what we want and we will come up with what you want.”

Tuitubou adds, the Ministry will continue to work with youths to support them and their growth.

The Youth and Sports conference brought together 100 young people from the provinces of Cakaudrove Bua and Macuata to talk about issues affecting them.
