An eighteen-year-old man of Tovata Settlement in Nasinu has been remanded for the next fourteen days for allegedly stealing a mobile.

Isikeli Rasalili was with his friends on July 18th at Omkar Road, Narere when the alleged offense occurred.

It is alleged the accused was drinking kava with the complainant, when he stole a Samsung mobile phone which cost $1,200.

The man was later arrested by police.

He appeared in the Nasinu Magistrates Court today and will make a formal bail application on the 27th of this month.
