More young and grassroots level entrepreneurs are taking a hold of their future and making wiser business decisions says the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation.

Federation Chief Executive, Nesbitt Hazelman says they have received an increased number of membership from these entrepreneurs.

Hazelman says the Federation will not stop here but will work towards lobbying more businesses to ensure their voices are heard in decision making processes.

“The Women and Entrepreneurs Business council opened three years ago and it has grown significantly. Our Youth Employers Council has grown to over a hundred members. So it shows that they Federation provides them with a platform so their voice can be heard.”

Hazelman says currently the Federation has a total membership of over five hundred but they aim to increase it to a thousand by the end of this year.
