The launching of the Year of the Synod was celebrated at the ANZ Stadium in Suva yesterday.

During the year of the synod, the Catholic Church will be conducting workshops to provide refreshers to the congregation on the teachings of the church.

Archbishop, Peter Loy Chong says during the workshop members of the church will be given an opportunity to raise their concerns and issues faced within the church.

Loy Chong says following which both the administration and church members will find solutions together.

The synod meeting will be held a week prior to the Pentecost Sunday in June 2019.
