Year 8 exam results released

A total of 16,025 Year 8 students will be able to check their results as the Ministry of Education has released it to the 9 districts.

The examination was re-introduced this year as part of the reforms undertaken by the Ministry of Education in its’ bid to raise the performance bar in the education sector.

Education Minister Dr Mahendra Reddy says the results are important as it allows transition from primary education to secondary education.

He says parents should discuss with their children the career pathway they want to pursue and encourage them to perform to their full capacity.

All Year 8 students, parents and guardians are requested to obtain their results from their respective district education offices or log onto the Ministry of Education website on www.education.gov.fj.

Students should present their student ID number as recorded in the FEMIS when collecting their results.
