Year 12 results released

The 2015 Fiji Year 12 Certificate Exam results have been released to the District Education Offices.

12, 472 candidates sat for the Year 12 exam at 166 centers around the country.

Of this, 65 percent scored marks equivalent to 200 or above in English plus 3 best subjects.

A significant improvement in pass rates is noted for French, Biology, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Geography, Chemistry, Accounting, History, Computer Studies and Urdu.

However, eight subject analysis reveal a slight decline includes Agriculture, Office Technology, Home Economics, Hindi, Applied Technology, Na Vosa Vaka Viti, Technical Drawing and Design and English.

Education Minister Dr Mahendra Reddy is pleading to students to accept their results positively and make meaningful decisions as there will be no automatic progression to Year 13.

All the Year 12 students, parents and guardians are requested to obtain their results from district education office or log onto the Ministry of education Website on www.education.gov.fj.

School Principals are to collect the results from District Education Office from 8:00am tomorrow.
