The Government has today awarded the tender for the construction of the new Ba Hospital to Yanjian Company Fiji Limited.

Speaking at the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding Bhavesh Patel, a member of Ba Chamber of Commerce said the construction of the hospital will address the needs of proper medical service from the people of Ba.

Meanwhile, Acting Prime Minister, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says it will take 15 months to construct the 35 million dollar hospital.

Sayed-Khaiyum says thorough processes were followed before the company was selected.

About 100 people will be employed by the Yanjian Company Fiji Limited.
