Vatunareba Yalobi youth group of Waya village on Yasawa Island received a timely boost in trying to restore their garden which was destroyed by TC Winston.

This is after Assistant Minister for Youth, Iliesa Delana distributed large seed packets, garden fencing and watering cans.

Delana urged the youth to persevere in times of hardship.

He says they are all aware of the devastation caused by Winston, however one should always remain optimistic and committed to their goals and objectives.

Vatunareba Yalobi Youth Leader, Mesulame Naqitawa says the new batch of seeds and supplies will help the youth garden to thrive once again.
