Fiji Committee for the Tae Kami foundation and the Fiji Cancer Society launched its 2012 Walk on Walk Strong – Shave it or Save it campaign today.

Tae Kami Foundation chairman – Taholo Kami challenged individuals and private sector companies to support people suffering from cancer.

“There is a challenge to the hotels and resorts around Fiji, if we can get forty resorts and hotels to come forward and take part in the challenge in Suva on August 4th and the week later in Lautoka.”

Kami says last year’s campaign was a huge success and they expect the same for this year.

He says around $180,000 was raised last year and they have allocated $100, 000 to support treatment of young patients and their families.
