September 9, 2015 6:10 pm

An average of 120 deaths by suicide is recorded in Fiji every year and today marks World Suicide Prevention Day.

The Health Ministry hopes to create awareness on the fact that suicide is preventable and that talking about it and seeking help can be a life-saving action.

Across Fiji, NCOPS and other key partners are running programs targeting youth in a range of settings for World Suicide Prevention Day.
