British High Commission Head of Policy and Multilateral Dominic Rhode says they are excited and are bracing that results will turn into their favor.

“We are all getting very excited about the world cup now, so you know a big day for us that we are looking ahead too is the second week of October when Fiji play Wales which will be screening at the High Commissioners residence.”

The New Zealand High Commissioner Jonathan Curr says they are blessed with players from the region in their team.

“Fijians have made a great contribution to the All Blacks as they have made contributions to a number of other teams as well so I’m very happy to see a player of Sevu Reece’s character on the All Blacks side going into this World Cup, and I’m sure and I think he’s a very good player and I think he will be a very good asset for us, so Thank you Fiji”

Meanwhile, the Australians High Commission John Feaks says it will be the outcome of the game between the Wallabies and the Flying Fijians which will matter the most.

“I’d have to say my loyalty is slightly divided, only slightly, obviously I hope the Wallabies win but I do think it will be a very close game.”

The Flying Fijians and the Wallabies have played 21 times – with Australia winning 18 games and Fiji only winning twice and a draw.

The match between the Flying Fijians and the Wallabies kicks off at 4.45 pm tomorrow.
