Workshop for betterment of village

Members of the Vanuavatu Development Committee are currently attending a leadership workshop aimed at broadening their knowledge on carrying out projects and achieving results for the betterment of those in the village.

They will manage various projects such as addressing water problems, food, and climate change issues faced by villages.

Committee Chair Yaminiasi Gaunavou told FBC News they are hopeful of achieving a good outcome.

At the end of this training program ,all participants will be required to have taken their oath to the Turaga Tui Vanua to show their alliance, commitments, and to tell the people of Vanuavatu that they have being given a task and will do it to the best of their ability.

UNDP has given a US$50,000 funding to the Committee for projects they will undertake.
