Workshop aimed at strengthening compliance audit skills

A week-long workshop is being held for the financial auditors from the Office of the Auditor-General this week.

International Standards for Supreme Audit Institutions.

Nand says plans are in place to develop a Compliance Audit Manual for this purpose and commence the audits later during the financial year.

Meanwhile, the workshop is being facilitated by the Secretariat for the African Organization of English-speaking Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI-E) and the Supreme Audit Institution of Ghana.

The four-day workshop is currently held at the Suva Peninsula Hotel and will conclude tomorrow.
