Work on new Vatuwaqa industrial subdivision to begin soon

Fiji’s largest land developer, the K. Bhindi Brothers Limited is working on a land development project in Vatuwaqa, Suva.

General Manager Dr. Sagar Dhanji says this investment has been in the pipeline for some time now.

Dr. Dhanji says the first step will be to relocate the squatter dwellers from the area.

“We will be developing an industrial subdivision, so it’s going to be a big industrial subdivision where we will have factories and warehouses.”

Dr. Dhanji says they will work on 52 acres of land which will also include Nanuku and Veidogo settlements.”

The squatter dwellers will be relocated to Makoi in Nasinu.

The K. Bhindi Brothers will spend $12million in the relocation.
