Woman remanded in custody in double stabbing case

A 25-year-old tour consultant of Nadi has been charged with two counts of unlawful wounding after she allegedly stabbed two people on Saturday night.

Seini Inga Kean is alleged to have stabbed her partner several times on the back with a pair of scissors.

The victim is admitted in the Intensive Care Unit at Lautoka Hospital.

Kean later allegedly stabbed another person who is also admitted in the Lautoka Hospital.

She was produced in the Nadi Magistrates Court yesterday afternoon and has been remanded in custody.

The case will be called for mention on July 6th.
