A woman of Siberia in Labasa who was allegedly speared with a hunting spear by her husband earlier this month has been released from the hospital.

Police spokesperson Jokatama Qio says the woman and her husband is alleged to have had a heated argument that led to the attack.

The man allegedly resisted arrest when Police arrived at the scene.

He’s also alleged to have damaged the police vehicle with the spear.

Investigations continue.
