The offences occurred between the 18th December, 2013 and 22nd October, 2014.

Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage while sentencing Buksh said her sentence cannot be suspended, because she did not make any attempt to return the money to the complainants before the case was filed.

She has been given a non-parole sentence of twenty months.
